
Contract Support Coordinator
Description
CLASS SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting contract maintenance services, by escorting, checking on status of work being performed, ordering support services as needed, performing inspections, quality checks, and minor maintenance tasks in support of the contract and facilities maintenance department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
This class specification represents only the core areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.
- Provides escort services for various contracted service providers
- Performs inspections post project evaluation. Assesses stakeholder availability and requests support for on-demand contracted services
- Investigates issues associated with quality of service for internal and external CVG AA stakeholders. Notifies leadership and contractors of issues and coordinates resolution
- Coordinates with Airport operations, facilities, the contractor, or self-performs elevator and escalator restarts
- Provides updates on asset information
- Updates various reports for work completed, performance, and regulatory records as required
- Complete work orders and record time/material utilized on jobs, through a computer-based asset management system
- Assist with contractors to meet Airport standards and developing improvements to facilities equipment
- Coordinates elevator contingency plan implementation, execution, and closing
- Performs facilities inspections as requested, enters work requests
- Reviews details of facilities work requests as requested by facilities leadership. Recommends plans for resolution as needed.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED and three years of work experience in customer service involving direct contact with customers, or airport, experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Obtain and maintain non-movement area airfield driving
- Maintain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance
- Obtain and maintain position appropriate NIMS & emergency training
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Customer service
- Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) knowledge
- Delegation/escalation of work requests
- Work order systems preferred
SKILL IN
- Clearly and effectively communicating both orally and in writing
- Establishing and maintaining effective, fair, cooperative, collaborative and respectful relationships with internal and external colleagues, peers, work teams and workgroups
- Demonstrated skill in safety operating a vehicle and ramp driving access
ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: climbing, standing, walking, fingering, talking, hearing, and seeing.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force to move objects.
